The Green Ninja isn’t just a dry and cure system — it’s a precision climate control unit engineered to protect your herbs and maximize quality. Every component works in harmony to maintain the perfect environment for drying, curing, and storage.
At the core is a robust compressor system that cools the internal chamber, creating a stable temperature baseline. This consistency prevents thermal spikes that could degrade terpenes or cause uneven drying. The compressor is optimized for quiet, efficient, long-term operation.
Two Peltier (thermoelectric) modules are positioned in the airflow path and are tuned to operate at dew point — the temperature at which moisture condenses. As air flows over these cold surfaces, water vapor turns to liquid and drains away, reducing humidity without overcooling the chamber or wetting the herbs.
Unlike relative humidity, dew point directly measures the moisture content in the air. The Green Ninja continuously monitors dew point to determine the best time and method to remove moisture. This ensures drying happens steadily without condensation, preserving herb structure and quality.
Sensors inside the chamber measure real-time humidity and temperature. These feed into a PID (Proportional–Integral–Derivative) control algorithm, which adjusts fans and vents with precision. Whether you're fast-drying or slow-curing, The Green Ninja keeps conditions stable and within your chosen range.
VPD is the difference in vapor pressure between your herbs and the surrounding air — the true driver of moisture loss. Too high, and herbs dry too quickly; too low, and mold risk rises. The system monitors and balances VPD to maintain an ideal drying rate that protects potency, structure, and flavor.
As herbs dry, they release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which influence aroma — but also signal possible spoilage. The Green Ninja tracks VOC levels in real time. If levels exceed safe thresholds, venting is triggered to clear stale air, remove unwanted compounds, and maintain a clean drying environment.
Multiple fans and servo-operated vents dynamically manage airflow. Intake vents draw in filtered fresh air; exhaust vents remove stale or humid air. Internal fans distribute conditioned air evenly across all shelves. Everything is automated and data-driven — ensuring consistent conditions everywhere in the chamber.
The intuitive touchscreen lets you switch between Auto and Manual modes. In Auto mode, drying, curing, and storage are handled automatically based on real-time sensor data. In Manual mode, you can set your own temperature and humidity for custom recipes or experiments.
The Green Ninja runs mostly as a closed-loop system — continuously conditioning and recirculating air to conserve energy, prevent contamination, and maintain environmental consistency.
